Welcome to the Greater New York Chapter of the Betsy-Tacy Society. Our group is dedicated to sharing the enjoyment of Maud Hart Lovelace's series of books about Betsy, Tacy, and Tib, and all their Deep Valley friends. We are a branch of the national Betsy-Tacy society, and share its goals of preserving the legacy of this wonderful writer. We are based in New York City, and have members from Albany to New York City, and from New Jersey and Connecticut too. Please explore our site to find out more about us, contact us, or join us for our next "Violent Study Club" -- our every-other-month book discussion group. We meet at the McNally-Robinson Bookstore, located at 52 Prince Street, between Lafayette and Mulberry--downstairs level. It has a cafe, and is close to the B, D, F, V, N, R, and 6 subway trains. Their website is www.mcnallyrobinsonnyc.com. |

The Greater New York Chapter of the Betsy-Tacy Society has donated two "paver" stones for the Maud Lovelace childhood home restoration in Mankato, MN. Here is the letter from the national chapter thanking us for our contribution.
